Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
"Fair enough. Did your men happen to notice which way the miscreants went when they left the tower?"
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
After speaking with the Commander your group leaves town and heads north, following the directions you were given. Before long you are standing at the base of a two story stone tower. The entryway juts out from the building about 25 feet and a steel door, battered and worn, can be seen. No sign of activity comes from the tower and no hint of light can be spotted coming from the numerous arrow slits. The wind blows across the field the tower sits in, sweeping the long grass in wave.

Manger looks around outside for signs of recent activity, and has Frost keep a nose out for something besides rabbits.
Nat, with much eye-rolling, will watch the road behind, just in case.

Talim looks around near the tower doors and a couple of yards out for any signs of cart tracks. He then carefully inspects the tower doors for traps (you never know) before opening them.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Their are no signs of any recent activity around the tower. their may have been a path leading from the road to the tower at some point but its been overgrown in the intervening months. Talim slips the key in the lock and open the door, before him is a 25' long corridor leading to another steel door. A thick coating of dust can be seen on the floor.
Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
"Alright then. Let's go."
Talim walks in toward the next door.
OOC: Anything in particular we should know about guild towers, being members and all?

((Not much, they have a locked vault and rooms where members can sleep. Other than that its a fairly normal tower.))
Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Talim looks out for anything out of the ordinary as he approaches the inner door, with his henchmen behind him.
OOC: If he doesn't notice anything he just opens the next door.
Slow day at work, just moving the story along.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Seeing nothing Talim moves to the inner door. Sliding the key in, the door opens to reveal a 15' wide 10' deep room. Directly across from where you entered the chamber sits a pair of large wooden doors. One door is slightly ajar. Its an antechamber of some sort judging by the numerous cloak hooks along the walls. A large pile of old cloaks and rags sits piled in one corner.
