After a cursory inspection of the room, Talim, Dizon, and Morsha stow away their gear. They make their way to the others. Talim joins Dwali, Thorgrim, and Magner. He motions Dizon and Morsha to sit about two tables away.
OOC:
What did the innkeeper answer Magner regarding Clyne?
(You really want to be locked in with Magner all night? And his dog? One of 'em has to get up twice a night to take care of business, and the other one howls.)
Hehe, which is which?

Err... isn't the dog staying in the barn?

While his fellow adventurers stowed their gear Magner asked the Innkeeper a few questions regarding Clyne Elffrin. She introduces herself properly as Beatra. She then tells Magner that Clyne used to stop into the Inn on a regular basis to post job notices on the wall. He would also spend late nights sitting in the corner of the Kings Chalice trying to woo in potential recruits.
He stopped showing up at the Inn several months ago but continued to visit the tavern. The Innkeeper had heard that Clyne was no longer looking for recruits but instead spent his hours speaking to a nasty looking dwarf. She didn't know what the dwarfs name was. Then Clyne up and vanished one day and no one has seen him since. A human and a halfling showed up a few weeks after that and carted something out of the AG tower claiming to be AG representatives. The only person to speak with the two was the garrison commander, Captain Giles. The human and halfling were gone before anyone else could question them.

(You want to tell Frost he can't have a bed?)
Magner relays what he's learned. In conclusion: "We've got a couple of leads on Clyne, but only one of them is still up and movin'. Talkin' to Cap'n Giles and poking around the tower are about all we got.
Other'n that, that Hale fella or lahrd Resby sound like likely prospects. Not sayin' to ditch your search, mind, but there may be some good to be done 'round here."

Dwali pipes in with a grunt, "Aye, I think we should continue the search fer Clyne. The Captain would be good place to start. As fer other job prospects Lord Resby sounds like a fair deal. It never hurts to have a friend in the nobility."

Thorgrim chimes in, "We were sent to look for Clyne so talking to the Caption should be our first order of business. If and when we find Clyne then we can start looking at other things to do."

"Right. Let's go see the captain, then." Talim says.
then to Magner
"The dog may stay in the barn, and you in the room. Or both of you in the barn. Or the two of you can share a room, if the innkeeper allow it."
Talim goes to the job notices on the wall. He quickly scans them and takes those related to the Adventurer's Guild.
OOC: I checked the char sheets, you're actually broke! I should try that sometime.

Dwali grunts in agreement.
"I say we get going now and not waste any more daylight. Best we solve this mystery as quickly as possible because we are not getting paid until we do, and I don't know about you but working without proper compensation leaves a bad taste in my mouth."

"I think that's those road biscuits you've been eating. Really, you should try the honeyed pine nuts."
And in reply to Talim,
"I'll keep to the barn. I'm not much for having that many walls between me and the rest of the world. Though there are times..." He gets an odd look. "No matter, let's go make the captain happen."

"Ha! That may just be the case, and this weak human ale isn't helping out any either! Lets be off."

OOC: Anything interesting in the posted job ads?
