Figured this should go here. Since it seems people check this thread more than the other one.

So if you guys care to know what the modest set-up to start the game is this is it.

You all already know one another and are either members of the Adventurers Guild, or mercenaries contracted by the guild. You have been told to travel to the town of Trolls Crossing in the wild northern frontier of the Duchy of Valnwall. Once there you are to find a missing Adventurers Guild representative by the name of Clyne Elffrin. Who hasn't reported in or, more importantly, hasn't sent the guild any dues in over 5 months. Find Clyne Elffrin and report your findings to the Guildhouse in Dolmvay.

Simple enough with no frills and no further commitments once accomplished. Sound good?

EDIT

Also if anyone wants to make a new character and needs ability scores rolled let me know.

Also everyone starts with 300 gp. We will only be using the equipment out of the core BFRPG book. In addition to the new weapons and heavy shields of course.

Alright that's all.

One more thing!

I need a shout out on everyone's class and whether or not they are part of the adventuring guild. Need this now, so post when you know.

Thief, and founding member of the local Adventuring Guild (got a counterfeit certificate that says so).
Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

Sounds like Travolta and Cruise.

Thorgrim is a dwarf thief and is a member of The Crossed Swords.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Hey jcm, fighter/magic-user combo is only available to elves and half-elves. Sorry bro.

Though a straight class dwarf fighter would get that sweet 5% experience increase from favored class.

My bad, read the rules wrong. Okay, let me go through them again. I'll edit this post later.
