Let me know if I go over the top with Davros. I'm already having way too much fun with him...

Do you guys want me to wait a bit for everybody else to get caught up. I don't know if I should wait for some prompting from the bar maid before continuing.

Nah, go ahead. Don't think she'll say much, though. Heh heh.

Yeah, she won't be contributing much for a bit...

Nah, you've got ways to go before you're over the top. I fully expect Davros and Keiler will get into some glorious Ham-to-Ham Combat at some point.

Edit: Oh no, it's HIM! :lol:

I am planing to play Pero as very bookish and bumbling, kind of too smart for his own good. He'll wise up as time goes on but I wanted to sort of play off all his learning taking place in a classroom. His reason for "Adventuring" is more for glory, in the sense of he wants to find some ancient and powerful magic, or major historical discovery, or rare and forgotten beast. Not so much to be famous, but to fill his own desire for learning.

As for some background;
Pero was born to an older noble. Though he was the only son, he spent very little time with either of his parents due to their advanced age and status. Great care was taken with his upbringing to ensure he would become a proper gentleman and not do anything to soil the family name. His entire upbringing was at the hands of servants, tutors, and teachers all doing their best to mold his young mind. Pero was still a boy when his father died, and his accounts were to be managed by his brother in law, Pero's uncle.

His uncle was a kind man, but there was a reason he did not have a house of his own to run, and the household quickly came apart. Pero's future as a noble was all but gone by his 7th birthday. His uncle took what little money remained and enrolled Pero in the university in the capitol. Pero took so well to the world of academia that he stayed there for several years.

After many years he began to realize there is only so much to be learned from books and teachers. He yearned to learn things unknown to man. To walk among the frontier and discover something for himself. He left comfort and safety of the capitol with dreams to etch his name on the face of human understanding. On his way out of the city he had haggled with an elf over a "map of forgotten lore". Map in hand he hired on the stoutest body guard he could find and set off toward glory.

We probably will want to pull this together soon before I end up role playing me dancing on the tabletops ala Frodo at the Inn in Bree. :D

You're doing everything possible to NOT go back to the temple, your counterpart will stay to keep you out of trouble, Pero is inquiring about work, I'm attached to him, and I'll wrangle anyone in arm's reach (which isn't far, being a Dwarf and all, but still...)... So it's pretty much down to the barkeep doing something before we tear up the place.

Don't expect great descriptions from me or extended roleplaying. As I already say, I am french.
But it's a real pleasure to read you.

I have imagined a little backstory.
Neville has commit a crime in this own country. He was sentenced to the galleys.But, during a halt (call?), he found a way to escape.

Nice backstory. Any more info on what he did? It would be neat to incorperate this somehow.

As for dymondy... I would say something, but joe took all the words I was gonna say. :P
