Re: Google Docs vs. ODT?
No, I understand that. For your purposes, with styles, you need proper separate versions of the font. I'm just saying for my home usage, to produce stuff in Goigle Docs that look like "real" BFRPG supplements, I can use it, and make it bold, italic, or both for headers and such. Granted, I...

Re: Google Docs vs. ODT?
Thanks for the comments and links. I guess I'm not as particular about my fonts, because Quando looks good enough to me. I'd have no problem using that for anything I create or use "in-house." I know it's not proper typography to just bold or italicize a font when there is a proper bold/it...

Google Docs vs. ODT?
Perusing the board this morning, I took a look at the thread on the Spanish translation effort, and what caught my eye was the comment that he's working in Google Docs, and only exporting/converting to ODT periodically. In an age where more people are using online tools, working form Chromebooks or ...

Re: Opinion
IMO, as fantastic a game as LL is/was, it's simply outlived it's usefulness more than anything else. It was created, and thrived, at a time when the real thing was essentially unavailable outside of eBay and third party resellers. Now that B/X and BECMI are available through RPGNow, there isn't any ...

Re: What are you listening to/watching/reading?
Got my copy of Force Awakens from Amazon yesterday. No time for viewing last night (game night at the FLGS) but got started on the extras over lunch today. Added the free digital copy to my Amazon account too. Woo Hoo!

Re: World of Verdan (WiP)
Please share more of this as you continue to flesh it out - I love the concept. I've had thought of doing some of this in my own world - at least one continent where the fae are much more... aggressive? I get a real "Broken Sword" vibe and love that. Great stuff.

Re: Not so much "Compatible" as...
Of course, I intend to share it here anyway. It's actually being done as part of a "B/X 64 Page Challenge" over on G+ for motivational purposes, though it ultimately won't stick to the old B/X format very closely in the end. This has languished long enough as an idea I've contemplated and ...
