Re: BF1 Morgansfort
In my campaign I included a semi-permanent tent town outside Morgansfort. Debate over the realism of fantasy settings is pretty dicey but I figured it would make sense that certain locals would have to take up residence near the fort (in the summer) but not in it due to either lack of wealth or proc...

Re: Funding Question for the Community
I'd probably buy an Iron Falcon something just because the name is that cool.

Hey, just checking in! I'll get those edits in, and thank you for all your help! I'm just busy these days and haven't had time to be on this forum.

Re: Players
Welcome! My roll20 game is on a bit of hiatus now since I'm too busy to properly prepare. However, there's always a few games listed on roll20 and that's probably a good place to start.

Re: Rear attacks and Facing?
Chris' reply notwithstanding, there's a simple way to interpret the rules. One, it's obvious that a sneak attack would come from the rear. I'd let anybody try one, and this rule could apply. Thieves are (obviously) far better at this than anybody else. Two, assume monsters/adventurers know the basic...

Re: [TSGS] The Simple Game System, 2nd Edition
This looks really neat. Only a bit of technical criticism. To me, reading "boxcars" or "snakeeyes" means specifically a 2d6 roll resulting in either 12 or 2. Just a six or one is just that result. Mechanically what's in the text is probably fine, but I was slightly confused at fi...

Re: AA3?
The way mapmatic works, could you just add enough "dot" characters to a line to have it expand? Or, add extra dot characters at the bottom? I end up editing the text files as much as i do using the tool.

Re: Hit Dice Question
The modern interpretation is as follows. Every time you level up, you roll one additional HD (fighters 1d8, clerics 1d6, etc). You add the number you rolled to your total HP. You also add your CON bonus with each level. So if you have two fighters, who roll exactly the same each time at each level u...

Re: [AA3] A Temple of Slides and Stairs
Wow, thanks! "Somebody running a module I wrote" wasn't quite on my bucket list, but it's still rather satisfying to me. I should probably include somewhere in the text the recommendation that players copy the stats (and the equipment they get) onto a proper character sheet as an exercise ...
