Re: Ruined Gates of Varos

Why not go to places that are similar level in the books we have out already? Basic Fantasy Adventure Anthology 1 has Merilla”s Magic Tower, The Zombraire’s Estate, Deathcrypt of Khaldhun, The Vault of Thaire, The Slaver’s Fortress, The Lost Tome. Basic Fantasy Adventure Anthology2 has The Dungeon o...

Grimfall Quests

Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you Grimfall Quests. This is a set of adventures that I thought up to explore more of the wider world of The Western Lands. I got about a little over half way and my creativity needs a rest, in other words I've got writers block. If anyone is willing to take a look...

Re: KH1 The Blackapple Brugh

I still have some questions and comments for The Blackapple Brough some may need to be addressed by Solo. Should the paragraphs following the Wandering Monster blocks be justified? On Page 13 is Right Rain supposed to be Right-As-Rain? Page 16 – CS2 The Dark Temple is mentioned but isn’t in the list...

Re: KH1 The Blackapple Brugh

Here are my edits to The Blackapple Brough. I'll add R15 to the drop box folder. Double space between sentences. There were some with one and some with two. Using two for consistency. Page 1 – Introduction – Paragraph 2 Space between comma and next word. Was: Some of the creatures used are found in ...

Re: How to make class tables for homebrew class supplement

Awesome thank you for the tips You are quite welcome! I cannot stress enough that cut-n-paste is your friend. It'll let you copy entire columns/rows within a table, or copy the entire table. Plus, using the table menu (and context menu, I think) lets you also add (or delete) columns or rows very ea...

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?

I'm putting version 15 in the first post. Added the three log pages and cleaned up the formatting a bit. Also added Chisu and Kihu on proofing line. Kihu, welcome to the BFRPG Forums, please let us know how you want to be credited on the proofing line. For right now I included you as Kihu. To fix wh...

Re: Weapons and Damage

One thing that many old style games forget is an entire set of swords meant for poking holes into each other. These include the Stiletto, Epee, Foil, and Bastard Sword. The use of these weapons is very specialized, many early books were treatises on the use of these type of weapons against each othe...

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition

:D Page 70, third full paragraph: "There are three shapes (or areas of effect) which a dragon's breath weapon can cover. Each variety has a “normal” shape, which that type of dragon can use from the second age category (-2 hit dice) onward. Upon reaching the sixth age category (+2 hit dice), a drag...

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition

Hate to bring this up after so many years that its been in print.

The Black Dragon and Blue Dragon descriptions have breath weapon as line but the widths given are the same as the cone breath for the dragons that have a cone (Red, Gold and White).
