Re: OOC Tavern

Now there's a thing. I have written a couple of druid classes for an other RPG, though based on a more realistic view of a cleric. I got praise from an actual occult/magic expert which boosted my ego no end.

I might have a shot for a Druid class for BF, not that it will help anyone in this game yet

If we say what we plan then we can avoid 5 illusionists and no cleric

I plan a Thief. Preferably an Archer if MM allows the Archer Quasi-Class

There's a couple I like. Sage & Archer particularly, or Barbarian. It depends on the Stat line and the character class

Re: Why crossbow over bow?

As said above, with a crossbow you can keep it loaded and ready without much effort, you can't do that with a bow. You can fire prone. It has a flatter trajectory than a bow (though it does dip on loosing) and can be fired from a hidden position It is a good weapon to quickly train troops, but that ...

I don't mind Hyway

As I'm a newbie here, if the numbers are important, I am willing to give way to Hyway.

I can post every day but am on GMT/BST rather than US time

Re: Alternatives to death

Another vote for TPK being code for capture or a bit of inter-planar adventure. "You wake up in a cold room, you are lying on slabs of ice, the walls are coated in ice, your breath, as it leaves you seems to fall as snow. "Despite that you are not shivering, you look around you, your companions are ...
