Re: Ghosts in the Graveyard

Another idea would be to have the large tomb in the center actually be the entrance to a dungeon. That is one thing I love about this game, you can always add new twists to things. -Rumors of a lost treasure trove hidden in a haunted graveyard. Or a mad sorcerer who did experiments on dead bodies an...

Re: Ghosts in the Graveyard

It actually worked out well for me. My group is all newbies (me as GM too) so it was an easy way to do an above ground adventure just to get things started. I don't think I would do anything else with it but it could work well in any adventure. Just something fun to add in the middle of a journey. M...

Ghosts in the Graveyard

I just started a BFRPG group at the high school where I teach. Since none of the students had played before I wanted to start with something simple before I sent them into a dungeon. I had first thought of just doing a few combat sessions with random monsters but then came up with this scenario. It ...

Ghost in the Graveyard

Ghost in the graveyard “Your party finds itself in a small village where it took less than half a day to drink all the ale in town and discover that the only rumors revolve around the local milk maid and a certain member of the chief council. So you have decided to move on to the next town where per...

Great start

We had our first short session yesterday and it went great. Thanks for all the advice and ideas. I created a scenario where the party was leaving one town (no ale or adventure to be had) and headed to another (Brymassen from AA1). As part of the opening description I told them a crazy old hag was at...

Awarding Experience

Getting ready to run my first mini session and I have a question about rewarding experience. In the rules it suggests that you can reward experience just for the encounters or for gold as well (noting that your PCs will advance more quickly). I don't want the PCs to advance too soon but with only sh...

Micro adventures? and advice

Hello, New here to the forum. I am starting an rpg group at the high school where I teach. We are thinking just very short sessions for now (45 minutes) one day a week. I was wondering if anyone had any extremely short adventures (I am calling them "Micro Adventures) that they could share. Just some...
