Inspecting the stonework reveals nothing. Other than being of normal masonry, the wall has no distinguishing features. Your light flickers for a moment as if in a breeze before the chill feeling passes.

If your looking for a post-apocalyptic setting, Desolation has to be one of the best I have ever read. As for a suggestion; what about some sort of dimensional tear, slowly eating away at reality? Maybe their is some ancient spell or magic item that can seal the hole before its too late. Or maybe no...

Continuing straight ahead through the archway before you, you find yourselves in a long tunnel. The end of which is well beyond your light. You feel a cold rush of air race past you and you suddenly have the feeling of being watched.

I would say Bullywug myself. But I don't know if that is protected or not. If nothing else Wugs or Wug would work nicely.
