Re: DC1 Tales from the Laughing Dragon

Sorry to throw a monkey into the wrench but I just downloaded the latest version and noticed that on Page 3, the NPC Shosanna Smythe seems to be missing her Sv.

I haven't noticed anything else so far as I've just been skimming through it for now but that just jumped out at me.

Re: "The Pit" Adventure Contest

Now that the contest is over I would welcome any critiques/suggestions/etc on my entry. I didn't have a lot of time to pull it together and this is the first adventure that I've put together from scratch. I really have no idea if it's too easy or too hard or whatever so any input would be appreciate...

Re: Tiefling

Thanks for the advice, I'll switch up the name. It's basically just a half- demon character. It's great to come up with a unique name but here's another option I'll just throw out. There are already several other half-xxxx races so why not just leave it as half-demon. It would fit in nice with all ...

Re: Initiative Dilemma?

Odd, I've never noticed that before. I have always interpreted ranged has to hit, but melee only swing. If someone is shooting at a caster through hard cover and getting nowhere close it should not disrupt the spell. Yes, odd. I can understand being in toe-to-toe melee dodging and such making spell...

Re: "The Pit" Adventure Contest Submissions

Here's my submission. I was pressed for time and didn't have a chance to play-test it so it's really rough.

Calculating monster's treasure

Working on my adventure for The Pit contest and just have a quick question.

When generating the treasure a monster has do you multiply the treasure type by the number of monsters? For example, if there are 5 hellhounds in the room, do you generate treasure type C 5 times or only once?

Re: "The Pit" Adventure Contest

I'm hoping to jump in on this too. Just wondering what level(s) others are planning on submitting? It might be good if there are several entries that they're not all for the same level. I was leaning towards Level 4 but that could change depending on what others are planning on.

Re: Map generator and such

That's an awesome site. I love the world builder.

How do you save the maps though?

Battling multiple monsters

I tried searching but couldn't find any posts regarding this. When entering a location such as 4. The Mine in the Gold in the Hills adventure, how do you account for and manage all the monsters in that room? Do you limit how many can attack at once based on reach, if the adventurers are in a doorway...
