I've done a cursory search, and I'm not finding anything that could make a Fighter more interesting.
And to be fair, the Basic Fantasy Fighter isn't really all that good. I mean, even the Thief gets a situational damage booster.

The important question is: How long do you want the characters to be 'down'? In a lot of S&S the hero (and it's often singular) gets hurt, but comes back almost immediately. One of my players had dragonscale armor made from a dragonkill. Any thoughts on how to stat this?
