Simple weapon mastery for fighters
Hello, A few ideas on a simple system for Weapon specialization for Fighters. When a fighter (only, no sub-classes) reaches 6th level, all weapon damage gets a dice step boost: a dagger, doing 1d4 damage, now inflicts 1d6 when wielded by a fighter. In the same way a longbow would now inflict 1d8. Th...

Re: Combination Classes or Sub Classes
Granted that all that has been said is true, and not withstanding the fact that I wrote some special classes, I still think that the game works best with only the four basic classes and including "non-optimal" combo-classes (like fighter/cleric and fighter/thief). Using some of the options provided ...

Re: Some questions about dungeon exploration and Theif skills
Hi Ibex Mantis and welcome to the forums. 1. I would rule that a 10 feet square area can hold at best 4 characters. They would be somewht uncomfortable though and have a hard time fighting any enemies in such situation. 2. If I remember the rules correctly the torchlight should negate the elf's dark...

WellSolomoriah wrote:I'm agreeable to that. I'm not sure this class is tested well enough for the Downloads page; it got grandfathered in when I created the Showcase.
It's a deal then
I'll create the showcase record and upload the files tomorrow. I'll be linking to this very thread.

Re: Great Way Adepts
Ok, if there's no new feedback in a week or so I'll ask Solomoriah to upload it.
On the other hand... Chris, I know you are very busy, so, what if you deleted the Adept from the downloads page and I moved it to the Showcase?

Re: Great Way Adepts
Latest take.
I think I addressed most if not all of the issues pertaining the Adept.

Re: Advice on Workshop Ideas?
The d6 Mechanic Instead of putting in incoherent and difficult sub-system, I translated special skills into a "d6" table (I translated thief abilities too). You start with 1 or 1-2 on a d6 as good results and then the interval increases as you go up in level. Less flexible than percentage increment...

Re: Great Way Adepts
Goodness, the debate on this one. o_o I only have cursory knowledge on the GWA, but was looking into it more deeply recently, for an NPC I wanted to use in a 5th-level campaign. I don't know if anything I'm about to say won't just beat a dead horse, but here goes. IMO, the number of unarmed attacks...
