I have no previous experience with PBP gaming, but I do agree with the others it seems it would be extra heavy on you.
That said I'm open to trying that.

BTW, if I'm looking just for information from an NPC would it be ok if I skip dialogue and just sum up what I'm saying? My preferred way of doing it is to dialogue it all but this isn't tabletop so in ...

Seeing most of the group has dispersed and not being up for sparring Kynndelic takes his leave: "If you'll excuse me now, I think I'll have a chat with the crew before I have breakfast." He makes a small bow and moves towards the bosun. "Good day to you. Would you mind a little conversation, Sir?"
