Re: BF3 Strongholds of Sorcery

No problem. I started "House of Coldarius" and that one looks good so far. I think I can get through that one and "Thaumerion's Tower" pretty quick, but "Castle D'Angelo" might take me a while. I'd hate to have you hold it up for me. I'll see how far I get in the next day or so. When were you thinki...

Re: BF3 Strongholds of Sorcery

I gave the whole adventure another once-over and here are the things I've found (aside from the ones previously mentioned). Pg. 71 of R38, in the "Coming to Marul" section: "but he will point them in the direction of Derk, the father of Ritabi, who was also been kidnapped the same night." This sente...

Re: BF3 Strongholds of Sorcery

On closer inspection, it might be that the map's compass (on page 78 of R38) is set the wrong way - at least as I'm reading it. Looking through other directional text throughout the adventure seems to suggest north as the right of the page whereas the compass is pointing to the left. For more exampl...

Re: BF3 Strongholds of Sorcery

This is a small thing, but I noticed while reading through "The Tower of Light" that the 1. Entrance section states: "If the party is lucky, they may be able to enter the room quietly, spot the secret door on the western wall , and sneak into the complex through the areas 4 and 5." If north is towar...

Re: BFRPG users by State and Country

I don't think I've done this yet. If I have, sorry.

I'm in Minneapolis, MN. I did a couple of quick searches, but I didn't see anybody from the Twin Cities yet. I expected to see more, honestly, considering there's such a big gaming community here. Maybe I missed them.

Thanks!

Re: Morgansfort - First game I've GM'd in 25 years.

We played another session yesterday - and the PCs are still alive. For anyone who's interested, here is my map of the Old Island Fortress ground level, along with some descriptive text. It's fairly specific to the story I've put together, but of course anyone is free to use or borrow it for this adv...

Re: No limits Multiclass

For me, elves have always made sense as the sole multi-class race. I feel this way partly because their fey heritage makes arcane magic a natural fit along with another class, but also because they are the longest-lived race and would have had enough time and training to reach 1st level in two disci...

Great New BF Video Review

I saw Captcorajus posted here back in May. I've been following his channel for a little while so it was great to see him do a video review of BF.

Here's a link: https://youtu.be/FIL3NGG1Olk

Check out his other videos too. He has great ideas for fixing some of the problems with the classic modules.

Re: Double-sided Character Sheets

Argh. Good catch.

No matter how many times I looked at them, I knew I was going to miss/screw up something.

Thanks for the fix and the PDF tranfer.
