Not sure where you are heading with the adventure ideas but you might consider removing the Sethiss as a player race (instead using primarily as one of the main antagonist races/foes). You would be free to make them scale with the player levels and be much more variable (and more monstrous at higher...

Wow, have not seen you around here in some time. Welcome back!

Sounds like a great game in the making. Have always loved the Egyptian mythos, even though I have never really utilized it. Seems a great start with the races.

Even though the image does not necessarily make it apparent, the Chelonian is based upon freshwater aquatic "snapping" sort of turtles which (in my mind) are more like the leatherback sorts. Also, they were balanced out a bit for use as a playable race (New Races Supplement), so thought on...

Yep... the opposite would be true for dead thief and intended to be be a MU next time around. It works out.

I have often let characters be rolled up with half the XP of the dead character. This lets the new character not be too far behind while still being quite a setback.
