Re: Field Guide Omnibus
Probably best to ditch that image then. Probably easily replaced by something that is truly public domain or one of our artsy folks can put out something to replace with. hint hint

Re: Field Guide Omnibus
Public domain is quite likely. One of my early entries and I did pull a few images from the net when I shared on the forum. Would have been from something like Wikipedia or science site.

Re: Magic/Mana System?
Spell points are great for making mid-level MU types a lot of options with the low level spells. Having ability to fire off several first level spells is quite effective... imagine multiple firing of Sleep spell. One may want to put in some limitations to combat that sort of overuse... something lik...

Re: Converting D&D to Basic Fantasy
I would also like to see how to convert 5e stuff. Many thanks! Nothing official will be offered. Ever notice how we don't even really mention certain games/editions? My suggestion, whatever you see from later editions of certain games, just look for the earliest incarnation of it (such as 1e/2e/BX ...

Re: I had an idea!
I am a big fan of those little adventure bits, especially when the monsters are put into those encounters in very interesting/odd ways. One such encounter/adventure-mini I used had a Haunted Ship that the characters were traveling on. Expecting some undead scourge, the players ultimately met up with...

Re: BFRPG rules rip-off with potential license violation
Creepy the way it is just absolutely copied and thinks simply putting another name in a few spots.
Clearly an unethical individual.

Re: Elven Aesthetic Communication
That is some really nice detail for your campaign. I rather like the vibe of such style/symbolism being incorporated. I believe there is a lot of such unspoken but understood things all around us. Symbolism really is all around us, and makes up a lot of communication. Just think of traffic signals, ...

Re: Fey/faerie creature list?
Yes, strictly historical or from traditional folklore would place so many things into the Fey/Faerie/Sidhe category. Really would depend on the nature of your campaign. Boggo is correct about the blurriness of such a categorized listing, and would really depend on your campaign design. One could eve...
