Are the underlying rules based upon BFRPG? even loosely? I did a quick review of your development website, and I see no mention of the underlying rules and specifically no mention of BFRPG at all. Otherwise, at best only tangentially related to 'old school gaming'... and just an off-topic recruitmen...

I don't give XP for gold acquired, but I certainly do allow characters to spend on training at 1gp:1xp ratio (and time spent). Fighters train in various places, Thieves likewise train (including in secluded guild locations), Clerics make offertories with prayer/meditation/etc in temples, holy sites ...
