Re: Website Update Discussion
One other thing - it would be neat if the small sidebar and the downloads page (Rules, Adventure Modules, Supplements, Forms), followed the scrolling or jumping downwards, rather than getting left behind up the top. Being left at the top works better to me, because it lets you have a longer non-scr...

Re: Alternative Magic System
Well, I'm not well-versed with Chainmail, but I understand it's somewhat hard to understand. This article takes what was there and puts it into tables that are clear and understandable. Requires rolling a d12 and a d6. The higher the spell the more difficult it is to cast, but that is tempered with...

Re: Alternative Magic System
I found a spell system in Knockspell #2 that uses a cleaned up version of the Chainmail rules. It looks very easy, too. Is that the "advanced" one listed in the table of contents? (I'm not sure what "clean up CHAINMAIL rules" would look like.) Can you give a quick description of...

Re: Website Update Discussion
As I learned, make sure you delete your cache and then refresh the page. I did such a cache clear.. yet issue is there still. No worries, it will likely get addressed in time. What version of Chrome do you have, on what OS? Version 48.0.2564.109 m on Windows 7 works fine... ( I do get a scrollbar j...

Re: Website Update Discussion
I like the other updates of making the paragraph titles set off in black. Two suggestions/questions: How do the menus under the logo look if underlined? I think their position lets people know they are menus/links without underlining, but I'm curious if they work underlined? The Board Index < Genera...

Re: Website Update Discussion
Something off in how the style applies in the forums. The download/purchase buttons float down to be under the banner (in my resolution) creating a new white space. Doesn't do that for me--even if I reduce the window size. Maybe it got addressed? I like the new logo--pops well while still being rea...

Re: Website Update Discussion
That's what I have too. Weird. I'm running it on Windows 7. Below the navigation bar, I see all the news listed and then the rest below that with some things layered on top of others. Weird--I'm Windows 7 Pro/Corporate with Chrome, and it looks fine. I disabled Ad Block Plus and Ghostery, and it st...

Looks fine in 48.0.2564.109.
What version are you using? Older versions have some weird quirks sometimes...

Re: Website Update Discussion
Newest update to center the body of text and the news column looks sharp. It is still very readable, but doesn't feel smashed into the side of the page.

Re: Website Update Discussion
I think it would be better to remove underlining from paragraph titles or from links inside text. This was more a stylistic choice, and I personally like them that way. If you feel they are unclear, I might consider changing them, but if it's just a matter of taste I'd need to see a larger sample o...
