Re: BF1 Morgansfort

Ten years later, starting up a new campaign using Morgansfort as the home base. I like a few more small towns around so I'm adding Brymassen to the NE as Solomariah did. Also, putting Melford (from The Melford Murder at Dragonsfoot) up the river shown on the map a couple of days. It will be the tran...

Re: Let me tell you about my day...

The accident survivability of modern small cars is incredible. My mom was in an offset head on collision at highway speeds (closing speed well over 100mph) in a 2000 Geo Metro and survived. The engine wound up under the passenger compartment. The passenger was unharmed but we nearly lost mom. That s...

Re: BFRPG Cyberpunk

I keep thinking of doing a hard sci-fi conversion, but then I re-read Star Frontiers or Stars Without Number and that leads me back to Traveller and I never get my round-to-it put together.
Good luck.

Re: And now, something different: Noodles.

My mother made a similar dish using leftovers from any large chunk (or whole) of roast beast, be it Turkey, Chicken, Rabbit or Beef. Mom's mom came from Canada, but her family was from Iowa. Mom's dad's family is a mystery.
Yum.

Homework

Hi there, I have a stupid homework assignment I have to do that I can use a little help with. I have to interview members of a community. I defined my community as small town RPG players and they bought it, but I think the paper will look better if I don't just interview my family. So my plea goes o...

Re: Campaign Settings

My last campaign world was Morgansfort, more or less. I added an additional rural/wilderness area upriver from the coast and did sort of a mashup with some free modules from Dragonsfoot. My current campaign is my own creation with some published and free modules mashed into it. I try not to get too ...

Re: morgansfort overpowered?

I hand out treasure slightly differently. I decide what I want for character or story progression (sword +1, potion of healing, the cursed crown of King Magmadar) and then hand out as the adventure continues. It doesn't matter if the magic sword drops from a goblin king or found in a treasure trove...
