Re: Eastover Patrol (NEW) & The Forgotten Hero (BFRPG Fiction)

I just finished Eastover Patrol. It was an excellent read! Several parts of it reminded me of R.A. Salvatore's work, which is some of my favorite fantasy literature. I'll take on the Forgotten Hero as soon as I get the chance. Echoing what others have said, I would also very much like to read more o...

Listening to: "Mood for a Day" by Yes. A relaxing classical guitar composition.

Listening to: "First Snow" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of Christmas music, but TSO is a staple of the season for me.

Re: Playing God

I appreciate how practical and concise this guide is. I also like the idea of creating a elementalism-themed pantheon. It seems that almost all of the campaigns I've ever played in have had a pantheon loosely based on either Greek or Norse deities, and I've gotten quite tired of those models at this...

Re: What are you listening to/watching/reading?

I respect that stance. It's definitely hard to do the legacy of Queen justice, regardless of the effort put in. I'll check that cover out. I'm always in the mood to hear new renditions of songs I enjoy. Also, I'm currently listening to: "Birdland" by Weather Report. As far as I'm concerned, it's har...

Re: What are you listening to/watching/reading?

Listening to: "I Want It All" by Queen. This one's definitely my favorite of their later material, possibly my favorite song by them overall. I can always count on it to come through when I want to listen to something motivational. If you don't know it, I recommend giving it a listen: https://youtu....

Listening to: "Shofukan" by Snarky Puppy. If you enjoy jazz fusion or progressive rock, I highly recommend them. This particular track shows a bit of an Eastern style. I could see it making excellent background music for a game session.

Listening to: "The Cave" by Mumford and Sons. I have a deep appreciation for the lyrics to this song.
