Sim will map, though it will be representative, not exact, but as he will be scanning for traps, secret passages, more traps, hidden loot, monsters, etc, then he'll make the representative map part of that

Sim, a suspicious sort, follows Hrothgar, looking for evidence of false floors, hidden doors, hidden arrow slits, murder holes down which oil can be poured, the Loch Ness monster, tripwires, vast armies of Orcs, the usual.
