Re: Creature Saving Throws

I originally went to BFRPG for the price, and stayed for the flexibility.

Don't like 5 saves? Do you prefer the 3 saves from the d20 srd? Great! There's a supplement for that.

Re: Refreshingly Accessible

This was actually what originally got me into basic fantasy rpg. I was looking into labyrinth lord, swords and wizardry, castles and crusades and a few others. I figured they were 99% the same game, so I bought the cheapest one (I know most of them are free, but I like having books). Now that I've p...

Re: Suggestions of First Scenario to run.

Many great modules have been suggested to launch a campaign. I thought I would share my advice on opening the game. I prefer to launch the game right in the middle of the action (particularly for new players). The PC's are patrolling the woods while they hear the howling of wolves growing louder, th...

I'm not interested in it myself. I just figured something like that might exist and could be useful to the OP.

Re: Is there an overall map of where all the modules go?

I know Solo has mentioned he doesn't want an official setting on the download pages,
but is there any setting supplement with all the modules somewhere in the workshop?

To tho's who don't understand my problem with it... here's a simple simultaneous scenario... Alfonz rushes at Burthold to attack. Burthold says "if he's coming towards me i flee out of the room so he cant attack me." Alfonz who sees he won't be able to reach Burthold says "if i see h...

Re: Monster Dexterity Bonus?

If you're rolling 3d6 it will not give the players an advantage on average.
You are just as likely to get a -1 as a +1, -2 as +2, etc.
