Re: GL1 - The Nameless Dungeon (review)

You can be very prolific, that doesn't mean you can be at that. When you use an aggressive language any review becomes a personal point of view than a subjective one. So, to me, the product fails to you due to your expectations (this does not mean they are good or bad, they are yours) and not to ot...

Re: GL1 - The Nameless Dungeon (review)

And I shall introduce myself. I'm Bryce Lynch. I run tenfootpole.org. I've done 400-ish adventure reviews with about 95% of them being 'new' old school product. And while arguments from authority have no merit, I would note that I'm by far the most prolific reviewer of OSR adventures and the only on...

Re: GL1 - The Nameless Dungeon (review)

I assure you, I did not single out GL1 for a rant. There's a lot of softball in the OSR, and in niche subcultures in general. That's not me. When I say something is good you know it's good. GL1 - The Nameless Dungeon (review)

Chris Gonnerman BFRPG BFRPG Levels 1-3 One day you are walking down a road, minding your own business, and the next thing you know goblins are hunting you in a forgotten dungeon … I hate this adventure. More than usual. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because the weekend is over, or my wife is busy, or...

Re: Hill Giant Hall

Oh fame, how thy sweet nectar continues to elude me! bryce0lynch, I'll give you a blog account on the strength of that one single post if you ask. Just one thing... don't say "Self Published" for modules produced by the Basic Fantasy Project. Thank you for your generous offer, however I must decline...

Re: Hill Giant Hall

By J.D. Neal Self-Published BFRPG Levels 9-12 Evil has risen and the countryside is in panic. Life in the rich, flat farmlands near the forested hills has never been completely safe, but now giants have arrived, ransacking communities and waylaying travelers, stealing and killing anything they wish....
