Re: Powder & Shot: Black powder weapons for Basic Fantasy

Sorry for not responding sooner, but I've been dealing with a few things outside of games.

As to JakeCWolf's question. I did read it a while ago and have made a few changes. And yes, the grenade pistol and the hand mortar are the same weapon.

Yeah sure. You can add them if you want, I don't mind at all.

Re: A Simple Halloween

Its getting to be Halloween time, so I thought I'd add a bit to my Simple Halloween supplement. This time around I've added a new religion, the Grey Lady's Disciples (a generic death goddess) with two cleric orders/sub-classes, the Grave keepers (an unarmed cleric sub-class) and Hunter of the dead (...

Re: Other Genres?

I've been thinking and tinkering with rules for modern and space/sci-fi settings. However, my enthusiasm for it has dropped but I still hope to finish it one day.

Re: Anthorpomorphic characters.

This is something that I've been tinkering on-and-off with since about May or so. As it is a personal project of trying to convert one of my old settings to BF, I didn't think to about making it into a supplement (the races part, not the setting). At the moment I'm on my third attempt. First two att...

Re: Powder & Shot: Black powder weapons for Basic Fantasy

Solomoriah is right, the target number is always the maximum value of the die being rolled. Next time around I shall try to make it easier to read and understand.

Powder & Shot: Black powder weapons for Basic Fantasy

Inspired by movies like The Patriot and Pirates of the Caribbean, I'd thought I'd try bringing black powder firearms to Basic Fantasy. Comments and critiques welcome. Release 2 (Feb. 21, 2015) • Optional Rules — Armor penetration, Called shots, Deadly firearms*, Firearm inaccuracy, Pistol-whips and ...

I have updated the two files, but to save you all the trouble of re-downloading it and trying to see what's different, I'll save you the trouble and list the following changes here are the following changes I've made. This list of changes will also be put in the original post. r0.1 Changes (Oct. 25,...

Re: A Simple Halloween

So I've been thinking on how to handle the special spells that these clerics receive. I kinda like Dimirag's idea but instead of converting a prepared spell for a special spell, I want it a bit simpler. How about clerics receive one special spell per spell level that they always treat as being prepa...
