Re: Ultimate Character Charts
For fear that I might be overlooking something, I would welcome my peers to chime in... -- as it's been quite some time since I've look at these charts myself. But basically, in BFRPG saving throws base value start at the class specification. See "Saving Throws Tables by Class" under "...

Re: Roll20 Compendium
For what it's worth, I found this... https://wiki.roll20.net/Building_Compendiums Not sure what the current state or reality is though. Would love to see this happen all the same. EDIT: In the meantime, looks like Libraries (https://wiki.roll20.net/Transmogrifier) or macros can also be used (https:/...

Re: Advanced Edition Games and Halloween is a coming...
Definitely not just conversion, AEC has all the 1e spells and items that B/X does not have. For that purpose OSRIC could be used as well, as in "index", but not for rules. I was tempted to list the "missing" 1e spells in my document, but opted to just say "refer to an advanc...

Re: Advanced Edition Games and Halloween is a coming...
Thanks everyone! I'll check these out. I actually ran Night's Dark Terror on roll20. It is by no means a one-shot though; definitely a campaign module, unless you take a small part of it. :) If you plan on using other rulebooks alongside the BFRPG one please note that the games you named have some d...

Advanced Edition Games and Halloween is a coming...
It's nearing Halloween and thinking about running a one shot game with some close friends this October, using a 1e module, which got me to thinking... Would there be much conflict (or confusion) in using the Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion (or even original ad&d books) along side BFRPG...

Re: What kind of adventure would you like to see in AA2?
These days I'm also interested in oneshots for the occasional in-person game; mostly I gravitate toward crawlers with keyed dungeons, nifty traps, puzzles or gimmicks prearranged for sit-and-play; something a little more than just a random dungeon... of course I'm not helping/contributing much here ...
