I like those ideas but I don't have a lot of space. So something that can be tore down and rebuilt is my best option.

The MDF looks nice, I will consider it! Hopefully now that haunt season is over and we're back to 40 hours I can pick up some Lincoln Logs of some sort and put together a proof of concept.

Interesting post and the numbers do dispel the myth. My 2 cents on the who thing is that the Magic Dart option is, as you said, just flavor and works just like a thrown dagger so it is one I use. I also allow them to use crossbows as well which allows for them to still do something after the spell. ...

Idea for miniature buildings
At a gift shop I came across some Roy Toy building sets and was thinking that these, and Lincoln Logs, would work to build quick miniature buildings. Add in some fantasy themes minis that are close to scale and I think this could be a cheap way to have buildings or even dungeon walls.

I will echo Sol on this one. No it's not in the book but it is easily imported. I have quite a bit of BECMI in my BFRPG games and it is quite easily done.

I agree with Sol on the fact that BFRPG doesn't need a 'Companion' as we can build one ourselves between the online supplements, what we also have laying around and imaginative fitting of the pieces together.
