Re: Idea for miniature buildings

I like those ideas but I don't have a lot of space. So something that can be tore down and rebuilt is my best option.

Re: Idea for miniature buildings

The MDF looks nice, I will consider it! Hopefully now that haunt season is over and we're back to 40 hours I can pick up some Lincoln Logs of some sort and put together a proof of concept.

Re: New Blog Post: Are Magic-Users Too Weak, Part II

Interesting post and the numbers do dispel the myth. My 2 cents on the who thing is that the Magic Dart option is, as you said, just flavor and works just like a thrown dagger so it is one I use. I also allow them to use crossbows as well which allows for them to still do something after the spell. ...

Idea for miniature buildings

Re: BFRPG Combat Sequence vs B/X

I will echo Sol on this one. No it's not in the book but it is easily imported. I have quite a bit of BECMI in my BFRPG games and it is quite easily done.

Re: A Comment on the "Companion"/Advanced Question

I agree with Sol on the fact that BFRPG doesn't need a 'Companion' as we can build one ourselves between the online supplements, what we also have laying around and imaginative fitting of the pieces together. I am actually using BFRPG as the BE part of a BECMI conversion to form the baseline which r...

Re: "Floating Orb Monster with One Big Eye and Lots of Small Eyes"

In general I have converted monsters almost straight over from many sources. All you really need to do is change a few numbers like AC to make it work. If you want to get fiddly you can recalculate XP and other attributes as needed but I have rarely seen the need to. This also works for the post 200...
