Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
@metadata, well it's not critical indeed, but it would be nice to get in when some other changes are pending anyhow. but I totally understand you're not going to make a new revision merely for adding the metadata. @anchors, I noticed issues, where in one the earlier pages I accidentally inserted a n...

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Hey, thanks for the continued polish on the already great base Basic Fantasy RPG document. Though I noticed some potential nitpicks in r104, for your consideration: I noticed the PDF's don't have all the metadata (Title, Subject, Keywords) set. File - Properties - Description, where I'd suggest to p...

Re: New Print Releases!
Great work on a great release! Thanks for your generosity.
I'll be ordering my own hardcopy soon enough
Out of curiousity, does lulu offer statistics (presuming you wouldn't mind sharing) on how many 2E books have ever been sold in total?

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
And now for some more nitpicking: There's a diagram on pg 48 (r77 document), which may look more consistent style wise, if hand-drawn like on pg 147.

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
I'm not against the page number references; reorganizing the rules, on the other hand, is probably not in the cards. Fair enough. I'd like to re-emphasize that LibreOffice has facilities to do automatic page references. To set a reference point - insert / fields / other / crossreferences(tab) / set...

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Thankyou for your continued efforts to continue to polish an already great game. One of the (minor) issues we experienced with our group, was during character creation, where players have to reference the encounters section several times, which means going a bit back and forth during character creat...

Re: Random Character Generator in Bash
Well, funny how the thread completely devolved into what we all like best/worst about Ubuntu... I'm finding it hard to resist though... So here are my two cents... Ubuntu has since it's inception focussed on making Linux as easy as possible for non technical-users. Surprisingly there has been some c...

Random Character Generator in Bash
I wrote a simple (incomplete) random character generator for BFRPG in Bash (as in UNIX Shell). I'm quite aware this isn't the most ideal way to do it, but it enabled me to do it quickly. You can download it here: http://files.pcode.nl/basicfantasy/bfrpggen/bfrpggen.sh It should work fine on any mode...

Re: Core Rules Errata
Yeah, possibly. My plan, as it stands now, is to apply the existing errata (at least, whatever gets posted in this thread), and to add a few monsters and magic items. The monsters added will be, for the most part, monsters in the Field Guide which are truly old-school but did not appear in previous...
