Fantasy Grounds

Has anyone actually finished a ruleset for BFRPG in Fantasy Grounds?

I like the way it looks but don't have the time or inclination to build my own ruleset

Re: A note of thanks

I don't know if you knew this, but there's actually a filter that replaces any bad words with a row of @ symbols. So if you @@@@ don't like it when people type @@@@ then just @@@@ your @@@@ to @@@@ thank you @@@@!

:D

Re: A Comment on the "Companion"/Advanced Question

One of the things that drove me away from AD&D back in the day is that it got away from being setting neutral (or at least as much as it could be) and started insisting upon setting as rules. My sense of this is similar to Solo's in that I prefer to make up my own mind about what is going to go into...

Re: awarding xp

I award xp for achieving story goals. For example, making your way through the woods to find the giant's cottage might be 50 or 100 per player. I also award xp for really good role playing and other behaviors I want to encourage at my table. Another thing I do is award 50 xp a night to anyone who wr...

Re: Adding Comedy to Your Game

I would agree that most of the time die rolls or player decisions are cause for merriment.

Adding Comedy to Your Game

I’ve been GMing for 30 years off and on. One of the things I enjoy most about the role of GM is keeping my players not only engaged in the story I’m telling, but entertained as well. Humor is an important part of that. The good thing is, you don’t have to be a great actor or a great comedian to add ...
