Re: On Fighting Withdrawals, Retreats and Actions

There is no "threatening range" AFAIK

Characters could attack if they have a weapon that allows them after their make their movement, not at the same time, with the corresponding distance penalties.

Re: Magic-User Abilities

At first level, resting does not really help that much since Clerics don't get Cure Light Wounds until level 2. I wouldn't try a campaign without handing out presents at the start. I just shy away from the biggest presents: free exp and extra levels. Natural healing is a slow thing, you can change ...

Re: Monks and Guardians

There are several sub-classes that have their own spell list, druids have their own spells also. They are still sub-classes. The fey-mage and healer are both sub-classes with some twist on their spellcasting methods. To me, a sub-class is more than the spell list it has access to or the mechanics it...

Re: Thoughts on Magic Users

I think that is the sweet spot: Fight once per day on places that no more battles will occur and where that one battle is meaningful and use the rest of the day for other activities. Re: Monks and Guardians

I always find weird monks being able to cast divine spells by meditation, maybe they should cast "Monk" spells, with their own list (maybe taking some MU's spells) and being granted thru spiritual enlightenment or with the connection with some high spirits... The file says "Synergy&qu...

Re: Thoughts on Magic Users

Equipment emporium adds what its name says, equipment, it does not add rules like other supplements... I have said nothing about any issues so far... What is the D20 mindset vs old school mind set in your eyes? You asked and I replied. OSRPG is more than combat although its rules are combat oriented...
