Re: Art Blog or otherwise recording one's work

Great to see she's still working. An artist I follow on YT says "It's all about the reps." One money saving trick is to buy white canvas at a fabric store (can even get remnants), tape them to a board or cardboard and prime them yourself. House primer is fine (and cheap). It can save you from the w...

Re: Druids Supplement

I've used the supplement and seen the entangle spell used. To make it effective it should be dropped in front of the enemies, so they would have to move through at least two squares. Even an orc would be reduced to 5' or 10' (round up or down on 1/4). Then the fighters(s)move right up against it. Th...

Re: Charging

Yes. And no charging with a sword. Spears, lances, sure, but swords and axes aren't charging weapons. I think I gave everyone a charge, including sword wielders.. I figured the charge is with an overhanded heavy swing which is why you would get the -2 to AC for being caught in a fairly awkward posi...

Re: How to handle PC death in a campaign

I really like all of these.. I've only had one PC death in my campaign (actually 2 in the same fight.. If the dragon catches the party off guard in 'The Lost Tome' it can go ugly REAL fast). Because the rest of the party finished the quest even with the death of 2 party members the quest giver (a hi...

Re: Miniatures

Here are the Jack O' Lanterns. I got the Pumpkin Decorations from Dollar General 6 for $1. I used two toothpicks in a small holed washer then painted them black. Today I glued them together then painted the stems a light green. Here they are before and after with some Wizkid and Bonez mini for size...

Re: Holy Water and the rules

My thought on this to keep it simple. If you can grab more than one, then how many can you grab? Can a dwarf grab more because of meatier hands, does the Halfling grab less because of his size? The other alternative is to change the size which makes each one heavier, meaning you can carry less.

Re: Art Blog or otherwise recording one's work

I was going to suggest DeviantArt.. I know the name is odd but its where most of the artists seem to post their work. She would probably have the best luck scanning these but not sure of her canvas size.

Re: Art Blog or otherwise recording one's work

Yes wet-on-wet oil style is what she is doing lately. She watches Bob Ross often for some techniques. I will tell her to post with instagram, which I believe she already has. BTW, she is 12 and has only been doing this for last year. If you see the stuff in our home, you can see a crazy fast progre...
