Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

Hiker, per usual listened to the thoughts of the Sergeant and Dwarf keeping Karl in sight so as to act "properly" guardish. His bow is ready but the soppiness of the day has him a bit melancholy and yearning for some home cooked bread from his Mama's kitchen.

OOC: Assuming order is given to move out...

IC:

Hiker grabs his things, thanks the old man again for his help and hefts his pack back on his back and strings his bow for the journey ... waiting for instructions on where he is to be in the marching order.

Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

(Looking worried) "Errr, no thank you lad ... I like my cave just the way it is. You stay away from my things, you hear?" "Ok," Hiker shrugs and turns his attentions back to his newest and bestest friend, Karl. Hiker and Karl continue to "practice", honing their skills...

Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

When the Old Man of the Cave approached Hiker and healed his wound, Hiker was amazed, confounded, and generally happy. Hiker looked over his shoulder at Mr. Dwarf and smiled. Twas true that he indeed felt stronger now than when he received the wound. Of course, this was all relative to rest, healing...

Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

Hearing Hiker repeat his words, Karl smiles and says, "We should practice. Practice is good." Before he starts practicing though, Karl unwraps the sweat-rag around his head, revealing a massive, crimson scar on top of a deep, crushing dent in the left side of his forehead. He gestured to ...

Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

Hiker sat somewhat quietly listening to the smattering of various low conversations amongst the group and watching Paladin consume what anyone else would consider the most food they ever ate, but for him it was light fare due to his weakened state. The visual brought back memories of the kitchen in ...

Re: Season 1 - The Farmer's Lost a Wife

"Yes, we need to rest for now. Let's return to the old man's cave." To Hiker: "Don't worry too much. Miss Alma is worth a lot more to them alive, else they wouldn't have gone to the trouble of catching her anyway. We'll find her." Hiker sets his statues down for a rest... "...
