Re: Warfare Rules

Its not a bad rule system, but I see it lacks some important parts: PCs with low charisma should be allowed to lead other, there could be a limit on the platoon size or other modifier based on his or her Charisma bonus, maybe even his class and level should account for this. As it stands now the ru...

Re: Warfare Rules

1. OK nice 2. Already done, twice now : Once before asking and then I just played. It works excellently. The first time I had an army of undead march against the imperial guard (3 platoons each), and I kinda expected my players to be super bored (because they were commanding the imperial guard), bu...

Re: Warfare Rules

These are the actually quite good, no problems that I can see. Though I have a question about the hit points: Seeing as some creatures roll a d4 or get to add a number to their hit points after they roll their hit die / dice, would there be any special rules on that? Re: I've either developed a bad habit or my players tend to over complicate things

I would say if the players want to stall then let them. Time passes whether or not the party decides to act. There will be more victims of the monster the longer it remains unslain. I'd have the villagers approach the party and question them as to why the problem hasn't went away. Maybe a mother app...

Re: [SOLO RPG] Overland Travel

I'm wondering if there is a possibility of a collaborative supplement to house the different solo rule sets that people have been making and formatting it into a single Solo Rules supplement. I think that would be a great idea! A single document that has suggestions on how to play BFRPG solo would ...

Re: [SOLO RPG] Overland Travel

Welcome! Very nice, thanks for sharing. I like the simplicity of this, very fitting as a baseline for a BFRPG mechanic which can be house-ruled easily to fit specific needs. Since you are new I should mention this related thread which also deals with wilderness travel, incase it is of interest to y...
