Monster Supplement
After some major family illness, personal injury and work drama, I'm back to work. I wanted to provide a very rough look at what I'm doing for the Monster Supplement. As you will see, there are some spacing issues with pictures and layout that should be easily overcome in time. The general look is a...

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
As soon as you have it ready, I'll post it. I need to add this to the zip file. README.TXT Quicksand is a license-free font created by Andrew Paglinawan. The original typeface includes seven weights and is available here: http://www.andrewpaglinawan.com/QuicksandFamily.zip. It has been hosted in ot...

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
I'll type up a README and include it in the zip file in preparation for possible future distribution.

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
I'm against renaming them, but I will see about getting them posted. Sycarion, do I need any sort of README for these? Quicksand is a free font without any license - use as you like as the creator says. http://daily.creattica.com/2008/10/free-font-quicksand/ This font has been transformed from OTF ...

Genre Ideas
So do we have anyone with a setting/genre idea that might want to turn it into a supplement? Oh I would want to, but I want to finish the editing stuff first. I would like a sci-fi setting, a steampunk/dieselpunk type of setting, and something like Grognards in Space. I'll work on the GiS idea, but...

Re: other Basic games
I am excited to see those 'other genre' games, however, I would really love to see someone put together one specifically for the BFRPG rules. It would be very neat to see something akin to Shadowrun, a version of Cthulu, or even something more mundane like something that emulates Red Steel/Savage C...

Update on Templates
Just a quick note. Here is the update for the template so far. The template is for making modules or adventures. The font zip file is all of the fonts being used. They are all True Type fonts, now. The Quicksand fonts were converted to ttf. The list of fonts are: Sling font (like Soutane) Quicksand ...

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
Fonttools can do it, and seems simpler; either way, you lose the OpenType hinting. Since I work in Linux 100% of the time, I would prefer another choice of font... I used to be 100% linux at work, then we installed Altiris - it only works with IE7. Not 6 or 8, IE7. UGH! One other thing that may hel...

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
sycarion: Dunno what OS you are using; on Ubuntu Jaunty, OpenOffice.org doesn't work with OpenType fonts. Can you get TTF versions, or do I need to convert them myself? A version of Slackware called Absolute at home, Windows XP at work. Works fine in both places. I'm using Open Office 3.1 on both m...

Re: BFRPG Editing and Templates
Just a quick note. Here are the two links for the template so far. The Anthology template is for adventures. The font zip file is all of the fonts being used: Sling font (like Soutane) Quicksand font (like TW New Century Gothic) Liberation Sans (this one is only for the hit point boxes) http://sycar...
