I don't know if you're familiar with Actaeon in Greek mythology, he was turned into a stag and killed by his own hounds. By most recounting he had around 25 hounds.
His dog food bill must have been through the roof.

Re: New Class: Kennel Master

Really cool idea. I could see my kids wanting to have this since they're already prone to bringing dogs along their adventure parties. I feel like I'd have to try it out to give you more meaningful feedback. I did think the part about number of dogs being based on Charisma but also their level was a...

Re: Solomoriah Speaks E3 - An Impossible Review

I feel like the SRD is one of several selling points people tout for OSE, yes. It gets mentioned in most threads where the game is mentioned at least once. I feel like it's on people's radar. Of course, to compare to BFRPG, it's often mentioned when someone says OSE is expensive. That's definitely ...

Re: Solomoriah Speaks E3 - An Impossible Review

Dustinian has an SRD online: https://www.basicfantasy.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1089 Good to know! I wasn't aware of this and I'll definitely bookmark it for later. I didn't know this existed either. If an SRD is a tool that's been helping OSE get adopted, maybe ours should be linked more pro...

Thanks also to Bumblepig for the heads up on Claudia Nice. I saw that she has a number of books on Amazon. Which one are you using?

BTW, I really enjoyed The Children of Zewlac. Thanks for that.
Thanks! It was fun to write. The characters took a life of their own.

Re: Bumblepig's Droppings

Thanks for the advice, both of you. I'm sure any progress will be gradual. ;) I watched a couple things on YouTube but I really like this book by Claudia Nice. Toddlyons: I love stories of late late late bloomers. Staying creative and continually trying new things is probably the best way to keep fr...

Re: BFRPG book purchases

Gotcha. Well a mighty dagger is not quite as impressive as a mighty sword. :)
And the idea is to rescue Rafaela before the weapon gets made, but that didn't happen in this case
