Google Sheet Character Sheet

I've fiddled with putting together a dynamic character sheet, inspired by the Google Sheets done for Pathfinder. I realize with the BF rules being as basic as they are, it's probably overkill. However, if anyone wants to make a copy (the link is read-only) and play with it, I'd love feedback. I keep...

Re: BFRPG Crunch: How I LOVE you!

Also, back to page 44 and Initiative: "A character [and I would say monsters, too] using a weapon with a long reach (spears, for instance) may choose to attack a closing opponent on the closing opponent's [Initiative] number and thus attack simultaneously with the opponent, even if the character ro...

Counting every second diagonal square twice works equally well in 10' and 5' squares... just sayin'.

Re: Diagonal squares and distance

Yeah--using 5' squares, you can count each diagonal as 7' and it's very close to real-world (7.07') and at least the way my brain works, it's easier to count by fives or sevens consistently than to count by fives and then switch to alternating by fives and tens. In fact, once you get where you're go...

Re: When a character dies

What's great about this system is you can roll up a character in that amount of time that you won't be dissatisfied with later. Some other systems take days or weeks of research to get the progression of choices planned out to eventually hit your stride when it's time.

Re: Battle mats

Our group has a dedicated table where our GM leaves his map unrolled most of the time. However, if he takes the map with him, he gets to the game a little early the next time we play and unrolls it while he's waiting for the rest of us to arrive. If it's curling, he puts some books on the corners an...

Re: Combat with Floor Plans

First of all, I love the work you've done here. It's very clear and covers a multitude of potential questions. Thanks for doing the work! That said, I do have one question: on page 9, in "Attacks from Behind", if Derval moved to the square directly "north" of the Goblin or Dunbar moved to the square...
