Re: Adventure & supplement templates

Just updated the Adventure Template to correct some page style issues that have been annoying me. The page style names have changed, but a note has been added to the Introduction explaining the changes.

Re: Iron Falcon first impression

Ha, no. Not interested in sharing that story in the book itself... spite is never a good look, even if I think I'm in the right.

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

Here's a floor plan for the upper level of Uzenhold. Two of the tower arrow slits seem to be facing the cliff walls. It seems like you should limit them to 2 overlooking each road. There's always the option of having one overlooking the fortress itself. Sounds dumb, but they could be used to monito...

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

Thanks Bumble. I actually agree about the deceased NPCs, but this is an early draft and I was just writing things down as I came to them...

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

Here's a floor plan for the upper level of Uzenhold. No numbers, some symbols left undone (including ladders and ceiling trapdoors to access the upper tower levels, and probably stairs up to the roof of the main section). But this shows the layout. 50% MapMatic, 50% Gimp.

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

If it's all stone, the quarry might not be too far. Roman made mortar from a mixture of lime and volcanic ashes. You just need combustible for the oven. Maybe coal? Not sure what you're getting at here. "Roman-quality" just means "very good." The road through the pass is cut fro...

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

Thanks Joe! (Or should I shorten that to Grim?) There's a lot to do, and I have a number of other projects going on, so any assistance offered would be appreciated. Maps, dungeon designs, you name it. I'd like at least one level 4 to 6 dungeon near each of the towns, for example, and the Lair of the...

Re: Hex Mapping Symbols

Here are my takes on the three symbols that would need the palm tree images. Thanks for sending the full-sized originals, it made making these easier. I'm also uploading a hex-tile image; the resizing etc. I'm doing is aimed at making the symbols fit inside the white hex without touching the sides, ...

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

It is in a ridiculously difficult area, precariously perched over a road literally cut into the side of a mountain. The supply line now is a bit long, roughly 18 miles of excellent, Roman-quality road from Glastavel; with Odellia no longer a factor, all supplies would have to come from the south. Su...

Re: Kingdom of Sussary

Smaller than Morgansfort, but a bit bigger than a tower. It's a hardened fortress, not a comfortable place to hang out, purely a military facility. There isn't even a town nearby.
