Re: Regarding Monster Abilities and Attacks.

"+ special" usually means "in addition to normal attacks."

"or special" usually means "instead of normal attacks."

Hope this helps.

Re: bfrpg compatibility

Fighters in S&W have the same level 1 attack odds as fighters in BFRPG. I checked this out a long time back, actually.

Re: bfrpg compatibility

S&W's ascending AC is one off of BFRPGs. For correctness, deduct the regular descending AC from S&W from 20 to get the correct BFRPG AC (and the same works to go the other way).

Re: Print and Fold Miniatures

My say has nothing to do with it, Teaman. Artists who contribute to the Basic Fantasy Project are giving me a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use their art. This means you may also use that art elsewhere, even sell it, and I have nothing to say on the matter.

Re: Spell List Issues

The Necromancer supplement cannot depend on Libram Magica, as the latter is not a Downloads page work. So we should copy the spell into the Necromancer supplement.

Re: Spell List Issues

The Necromancer is on the Downloads page, and so should definitely be fixed. Does anyone know where this missing spell is?

Re: BFRPG Adventure Log by Scott Abraham

Just to let you know: I never use shading on our PDFs because it does not reproduce reliably on different printers and/or operating systems. For forms like this, probably doesn't matter, but that's why I use thin horizontal lines instead.

Re: Debate grammar in this thread

Y'know, I'm slow. I just realized that Chi split this off of the Style Guide thread. Good idea, getting the curmudgeon (me) out of his thread. :D Back when I started this project, very close to 13 years ago now, I had no idea we'd ever have a style guide. We wouldn't, either, if Chi hadn't created i...

Re: Debate grammar in this thread

Let me engage in a little reductivism here: Not true. The reason is entirely logical. So logical that it devolves to minimalism: do what you must but avoid excesses. The one space and the capital letter that follows it is enough of a visual queue to denote the separation of the two sentences. The ex...
