Re: Playing God

Okay, so since I couldn't work on the app, I updated "Playing God".
So here is r3. Let me know how I can make it better.

Re: Basic Fantasy Player's App

Well! I was planning to upload a newer version of the app this weekend, and instead I seem to have obliterated the entire repository! (rassafrassin' windows emulator!) fortunately, the source code is still present at school on the local machine. SO, thanks for the feedback so far, and sorry there is...

Re: The Village of Brebury

That's a lovely village. I like the map too. It seems to be a very wealthy village. which is not a criticism, just an observation. I would expect this is a stop on a couple trade routes or something. definitely a stop-off for adventurers. Your establishment names are... quite unique and memorable. 8...

Re: [TSGS] The Simple Game System, 2nd Edition

This looks NEATO! I really like the whole concept! I have a question about the die rolling examples though. I'm not sure iif I'm just dense or what. John and Barney decide to arm-wrestle. This is obviously a contest of strength, and both men are Strong, so each rolls three dice: John: 5 1 1= 1 Barne...

Re: The Stone Lord

I am confused by the chart on page 20. The text right above it says "No hazardous locale will be chosen by the portal in a random transport."
yet the table contains two lethal options in it.

Re: Basic Fantasy Field Guide 2

oh, sorry. Yes, I agree completely. I was wondering though, is there a difference between serpents and snakes? otherwise, I would think they should be grouped together somehow. Unless of course, they are like frogs and toads... similar but distinct species. and one other: Dragon, "Drax'xion, the Fir...

Re: Basic Fantasy Field Guide 2

Actually, I would think "Lion Fish" would be under "Fish, Lion". unless it's actually the name of something that's not a fish, like Owlbear, for instance.

Re: Beginner's Essentials

Since the BE is supposed to be for beginners, I think at least referencing the relevant page would be good. Experienced gamers would likely assume "attack" means more than just "hit with a weapon" but not new gamers. That's just an opinion from teaching the game to my computer programming students.

Re: Basic Fantasy Player's App

after looking over the suggestions in the multiclass thread, I decided to just make the "multiclass" options as single classes, RAW. For app purposes, I just calculated the experience and made separate progression arrays for them, rather than try to combine them programmatically. so, the app won't b...
