I was playing with Inkscape's axonometric grid and ended up with a small mausoleum map:

Can't reset password on pcmatic.basicfantasy.org
I signed up for an account a while back but couldn't get logged in (I entered a generated 32-character password). Trying again, the "Click here to request a password reset" link doesn't appear to do anything in Firefox (58a1) or Chromium (61), and there are no errors shown in the developer...

Re: DND5e-inspired/"Modern" character sheet (PDF and fillabl
Having been unable to contact anyone at WoTC I've been through and re-created the artwork to be entirely original. While items are similar to the 5e sheets there are enough differences to remove any licensing concerns, and I can say this is my own work (plus anyone can check the source SVG). preview...

Re: Regional Encounters (Wandering Monster table supplement)
Just FYI, the wilderness encounters don't have level breakdowns by design. Monsters in the wilderness don't sort themselves out by challenge rating... they live where they like. This does make sense. From an old-school perspective and for dungeon-delving-focussed adventures these tables are definit...

Re: Regional Encounters (Wandering Monster table supplement)
PDF uploaded. I looked at using HD (from Mike Roop's creature list) but certain monsters have abilities that are more challenging than HD would indicate; for example, Rust Monsters are a right pain to deal with but have few HD. I don't think I can escape flicking back and forth through the rulebook....

Re: Basic Fantasy Field Guide
Not sure of the status of the r30 ODT under Downloads, but a few possible things I've spotted: p7#279 An orangutangs > An orangutang p8#316 those bitten must save v.s Poison or die > those bitten must save vs. Poison or die p8#329 commonly found in the open grassland > commonly found in open grassla...

Regional Encounters (Wandering Monster table supplement)
The 3rd Edition Wandering Monster tables don't provide: 1) Wilderness encounters that are level-appropriate, that is, level 1 adventurers can come across vampires that, unless the players are very canny, will easily consume the entire party. 2) Region-appropriate dungeon encounters, so swamp denizen...

Re: DND5e-inspired/"Modern" character sheet (PDF and fillabl
OP updated with a fixed fillable PDF (no more misaligned text in e.g. AC) and slightly more specific statistics captions.
Roll on the weekend so I can get these play tested.

Re: DND5e-inspired character sheet (PDF and fillable)
Very nice looking sheet. Thank you :) Can anyone who has downloaded the sheet test it to see how it works during play? The columns should work to make items easy to locate (abilities, combat, background), and keeping often-edited items at the extremities, but I'm not sure of the AB-AC ordering, or ...
