Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

I'm back!

I moved from my country to Spain, specifically Catalonia. It's been a month since I arrived and I finally got my hands on an old laptop that I can use to keep my work on the translation.

kerck have you been able to continue your work on this? If not, is no problem.

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

Hello all!

Just wanted you to know that this project is not abandoned, just coming along really slow for reasons (both planned and unplanned) that sadly go beyond my control.

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

Let's go with method A. I gotta download LibreOffice and fire up my old laptop (I'm mostly a Chromebook dude). How do you wanna split the work? I'm still working on yur first work, stuff have been kinda crazy on these parts lately. I say you PART 4 (Adventures) and I'll do PART 5 (Encounters) once ...

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

I'd suggest we translate the whole thing with the original names and all, and then we go into the details like these. What do you think? I like how Albalucero sounds, but I think this is the best decision, first we translate the whole book and then we go into details regarding names and such. And I...

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

What seems most appropriate to you? I believe it will depend on the name. I stand with Dimirag that translating the names could help spanish-speaking players, but in some cases the names would better be left untouched as the case with Morgansfort (currently translated as Fuertemorgan), so players c...

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

Here's a very early teaser of the translation process. All the credits to kerck for the awesome job he has put on this so far, I'm barely adapting it and adding a few corrections.

Regarding the BFRPG logo, it could also be translated if that is ok.

Re: ¡Basic Fantasy en español!

Keep all the art, tables, etc. in place as best you can. Don't sweat it if the flow breaks down somewhat, I'll hammer that out. But if I have to put it all back, well... that's a monumental task I'm not likely to undertake. By the way, if frames or images disappear on you, hit F5 and edit them from...
