Re: Bounty Hunter Supplement
Found a typo.
Bounty Hunters are expert wrestlers adding +2 to his or her
Attack Bonus and imposes a -2 penalty on any Saving
Throw made by the held victim. Not only that, hey can make
a melee attack roll and if successful provoke a Waylay
Saving Throw.
Have a question about the skill table.
The tracking column starts at 40 then runs all the way up to 19 with only +4 or +3 then ends on level 20 with 99. Was that intentional to have it listed that way when all the other skills are listed as %?

Re: Bounty Hunter Supplement
That was a mistake on my part, I wrote the table that way so I could move the % points more easily.
R2 has been uploaded with a corrected table, both in presentation and values.

Re: Bounty Hunter
Giving bounty hunters the option to waylay with a wrestling hold is a really bad idea.
Assassinate and backstab requires sneaking up on a target which is not already possible in many situations. Wrestling doesn't require any surprise or sneak attack. Further, once a wrestling attack is successful, the bounty hunter can make as many waylay attempts he wants, round after round. Neither assassinate not backstab allows more than one attempt per combat.
This is broken.

Re: Bounty Hunter
Backstabbing (and assassinate/waylay) requires that the victim is unaware of the attack (which may or may not require sneaking, hiding, etc) and has a +4 attack bonus.
The special waylay needs the target grabbed (using no weapons, a disadvantage in itself) and a successful attack with no bonus, plus, the victim can attempt to break free round after round.

Re: Bounty Hunter
So
Lvl up dice would be the same as a thief or assassin? Meaning 1d4+con bonus at each lvl? I like The idea of a “Good” aligned assassin type character but not really a thief. I have only played thieves and assassins so I love The style of play but want to play a good guy if possible.
