Shonuff's Project Artwork

Post by Shonuff »

I guess I'll throw in my artwork into this thread, letting people see the art I create for their work. I'll link to the document or (if still in the forums) the forum thread source.

I'll use this for an index. all images will be 33% of original, but link following picture will be to the BIG original
(all scanned in at 300dpi.)

These are fantastic!! Amazing work!
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

These are indeed quite well done. :)

I am a fan of the shadowing work. What are the mediums used?

I second these comments! I think you are going to be keeping me very busy with updating the Field Guide in order to re-organize the contents around this art.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

I like them. Very well done. I think you should edit the foot in the Prince Frog pic to remove the blotch shapes. They look very much like the blotch shapes on the frog itself and at first look appear to make the foot be part of the frog. But it is a subliminal thing and I may be the only one to notice that.

I use blue non photo blue pencil for roughs, finish with pencil. Ink them with micron pigma inking pens.
scan, photoshop cleanup, and a bit of filters for touchups.

I agree. i wanted the hobbit foot to show some sign he'd been walking the same swamp the princefrog was in, no hobbit foot is pristine and clean, but yeah i see your point about the markings on the frog meshing.
i'll edit the foot today on lunch (at work) and see what we can see.

Smoot:
lol! Sorry bro. I told ya i'm diving in with both feet. I have another 4 sitting in "roughs" stage now on my table. i should have them finished either tonight or tomorrow. then i'm going to move over to working on some illustrations for the core rulebook and for some of the modules. This way you can semi finalize or update the field guide.
