Re: Miscellaneous Art Thread
I thought I would share my daughter's character from our 4e campaign..
She is an elf druid called Rowan Tamarind.
The first she drew a few years ago..
Here is one she drew a few weeks ago..
In case you are thinking 'Oh dear god not 4e!' she also plays in a Pathfinder campaign with me as well as an AD&D 1e campaign with some friends of hers from high school.. With her its not the mechanics.. its the role playing and story telling she loves.

What is bad about 4e??
Today you will meet a beautiful stranger. Actually hundreds of beautiful strangers. Everyone is beautiful and you know almost none of them.

Lets leave any discussion of whats wrong or not wrong with any other edition off this board. The discussion is way to divisive to forum harmony. Its derailed many a forum in the past.
Re: Miscellaneous Art Thread
Don't worry about the 4e stuff... she will grow up.
She looks like she will have some promising artistic skill. Already she sees her subjects doing something, rather than just portraits.
[edit] Whoops... hyway is right.

Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Re: Miscellaneous Art Thread
No edition is good or bad per se, it depends on the players gaming preferences and style, but I agree with hyway, lets better do not enter that territory.
Nice drawings, she has really improved over time

not bad! not bad at all. definite improvement between illos.
how old is she?
by the time she's my age, she'll be blowing all of us out of the water, quality wise!

Very nice, it reminds me of some art I've seen for the wesnoth fantasy battles videogame
(check it out, it's very cool!)

Re: Miscellaneous Art Thread
Sorry guys.. wasn't stirring up an editions war although I think we can all agree BFRPG is best
Smoot.. thats really what I like about the second drawing.. Just a druid doing what she does when she isn't out saving the world!
I think she has gotten really good.. Her Pathfinder character is on the back of one of her character sheet.. I'll need to scan it in.. She plays a Half-Elf Rogue

Agreed, her skills have already blown way past mine. Perhaps a future BFRPG contributor in the making!
