Art Requests
Re: Art Requests
That's a great drawing Something to help with scale would certainly help, but I've always imagined that if humans can come in a variety of heights, then so can all the other races, so a taller-than-average halfling would be rare but not totally unheard of...
Re: Art Requests
Very true, even going back to 'The Hobbit' and Bilbo's relative being tall enough to ride a horse. Rare, but not unheard of.

Re: Art Requests
Ooh. Not bad, not bad at all.
My experience as a viewer is that the best trick with halflings is to give them slightly childlike proportions-- a bit thicker in the torso, proportionally larger head (whole body should be about 4-6 heads tall rather than the 7-8 for an adult human) eyes, hands, and feet (whether one goes for bare Hobbit-style feet or not), slightly outsized gear. It tends to register as small in the mind without relying on external context cues.

Re: Art Requests
Great advice, all. I'll take another stab at it and see what bubbles to the surface.

Re: Art Requests
We don't do requested art, we kind of work the other way around, feel free to draw whatever you feel and that it could be useful for the forum or read some of the uploaded adventures or supplements and see if anything there catches your creativity and upload it on a new your own art thread

If you'd like to contribute, we could certainly use more artwork for Saga of the Giants, which is nearing print release.
