Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
i posted in the french translation topic a question about polymorph other spell description. Seems to me that the saving throw mentionned should not be "polymorph" but "paralysis and petrification" instead. any hint? thanks !

I had the same question a couple of says ago, I took the Polymorph as the spell, and that the save was made against Spells.
Sorry for any misspelling or writing error, I am not a native English speaker

Relax. We're MILES away from a new print release.

I was working on preparing a new bookmarked PDF, and I noticed that some of the R107 .odt file alphabetical Index entries were a little wonky.
Also, on p 163, there is an orphaned title followed by a whole column of whitespace below "Awarding Experience Points for Treasure Gained".
- p. 7 - Halfling split into two entries, "Halfl" and "ing." Also, the ToC pages start mismatching here, as Humans and Halflings are listed as being on p6 in the ToC
- p. 8 - [Blank] entry before "Character Classes"
- p. 13 - [Blank] entry between "Armor" and "Missile Weapon Ranges" (maybe this should be beasts of Burden?
- p. 56 - [Blank] entry after "Healing and Rest". This was probably supposed to constitution damage
- p. 164 - "Preparing Spells From Memory" entry split in a weird way into 3 index entries
Also, on p 163, there is an orphaned title followed by a whole column of whitespace below "Awarding Experience Points for Treasure Gained".

It is extraordinarily unlikely that you will be able to edit the ODT on your own computer without a LOT of problems. Sadly, a document as complex as the Core Rules is tricky to format. Unless you absolutely have to, don't edit the ODT.

I noticed also that the spell "cure disease*" is marked with a star, meaning a reversible one. However, there is no such description. shall i consider the star as a typo ?

Yes, the star should be removed.
