Why is the PDF in the Showcase labeled R3 but the ODT is only R2?

I'd like to get these posted on the Downloads page, but I need them to be consistent.

Right, I was doing some update and waiting to finish the handwritten diagrams translation in the gamemaster section, so I only kept the pdf up-to-date. I completed them and uploaded the two versions - they are in sync now.

On the Downloads page now.

Please note the file naming on that page, and if you don't mind, do your future updates using the same convention. This will keep the translations all consistent.

This is fantastic, to see another translation on the Downloads page!

Elwing, to elaborate on Solo's post: for your continued work, I would first recommend downloading the ODT file from the Downloads page. Then, when you've made additional work and want that updated file (and its PDF as well) on the Downloads page, first upload the updated file on Showcase. Then, email Solo letting him know, along with that showcase link. He will download the ODT, create the PDF, and then update the Downloads page.

Actually, Chi, as long as he's working on an unfinished translation, I'm fine with him doing the PDFs. Whenever Elwing says the translation is fundamentally complete, I'll take the ODT and hit it with the flow-hammer, and at that point I'll need him to download my revised ODT to work with.

I think the images may be a little messed up... they look odd on my screen. But no point in worrying about that until the final translation is done.

It's a weird sort of slow-motion race between the French, German, and Italian translations, to see which lands in print first. I'm told the Italian translation needs an Italian-fluent clone of you, Chi, to hammer out textual issues, but naturally as an English-only reader I can't verify that. I don't think Alexander is quite finished with the German translation either.

I would LOVE to be able to get at least one of them into print... even better, all of them!

great, thank you Chiisu81 and Solomoriah for the hints. I am still correcting a couple of things here and there, but It would be really beneficial to get some other folks reviewing carefully too. From my point of view, the translation is almost done (however devil is in the detail as usual) . I would also love to be able to see an official printed version, maybe we could win the slow-motion contest!
For the PDF quality issue you are seeing, it is "normal", I do the pdf export with low quality to reduce the size and the upload time. I will release a full quality version soon.
I also just uploaded a not-so-dirty hack of the italian cover pages(front and back) in my showcase, fully translated.
I will do a second call to a local site for the review too to hopefully make this print version a reality.

Hi Elwing, my name is Thomas and I'm contacting you after reading your excellent translation of Basic Fantasy (mind you, I still use english to remain polite to the other members).

My RPG club is currently starting an associative publishing house (we're almost neighbors, by the way, from south of Carcassonne), and we would love to discuss this topic with you.

(I would have messaged you directly, but you didn't add a contact email in your profile).

Thomas, I have to ask, what topic specifically do you wish to discuss with Elwing? He's translating the Core Rules into French, but I am the rights holder. If you have something publishing-related to discuss, you must discuss it with me.

Hi Thomas, first of all thank you for the nice words. As Solomoriah just mentionned, any Basic Fantasy related stuff must be discussed here and I appreciate you wrote in this forum first, so Solo knows what's going on. I updated my profile so you can send me personal mail for any other questions.
