Null Mage Supplement

Post by spidyfan21 »

Revised submission for Null Mage.

This version includes a Magic-User subclass and general quasi-class. The quasi-class version needs some of its mechanics better quantified into BFRPG rules, especially ability tables. The subclass version needs more spells and I'm still working on a way to make the subclass feel more unique than "Here are some bonus spells".

Rather than make it a subclass for every class you might consider making it a quasi-class. You can find the quasi-class supplement here: http://www.basicfantasy.org/showcase.cgi?sid=51

Thanks! I'm still considering where I want to go but Quasi-Class is the most likely option right now.

Another thing you might want to take a look at is the Templar supplement. They are more like Dragon Age Templars, (opposed to magic) than the religious warriors of our world.

I really like the Witch-Hunter/Inquisitor ideas that were discussed in the comments, I'll have to take those into consideration when re-modeling the Null Mage idea.
