I'm sorry to say, it ain't easy. I think a lot of guys lay them out in LibreOffice, take a screenshot, and then cut out the table from the screenshot and post it as an image. Sorry, but that's about the best-looking solution available.

LibreOffice Calc tables (usually) copy-paste easily into LibreOffice Writer, and can then be resized, and dragged around the document. Other spreadsheet programs like Excel don't play as nicely with Writer. If you're not using Calc then I suggest doing as Solo suggested.
Excel does work well within Word however.
Generally you probably shouldn't mix software families.
How I post tables, a.k.a. the not easy and not fast way: 1-Use libreoffice to create the table with BFRPG format 2-Export as pdf file 3-Screenshot of the table on the pdf file 4-Paste it on a bmp file and using paint (I'm a basic skilled man) cut the table 5-Save file as png 6-Upload it on corresponding post
Sorry for any misspelling or writing error, I am not a native English speaker
I make the table in an spread sheet editor copy it to the writing editor (for a clean border), and then use snipping tool (included with Windows Vista and later). I can then save the image as a PNG, or JPEG.
You should probably use PNG for tables, and illustrations, because it is a lossless format, and tables in lossy formats, like JPEG, might be hard to read.
